About

The CREST Difference

Our Philosophy is grounded in the understanding and knowledge that all children benefit when they feel connected to beautiful natural outdoor spaces and they can use the resources that are found in the natural environment to build on their individual strengths and interests as well as develop skills, knowledge, feelings and dispositions.

The implementation of an integrated play based program at CREST encourages access to indoors and outdoors equally and fosters curiosity, exploration, turn-taking and collaboration, which contribute to the holistic development of children.

We believe that relationships are at the foundations of all successful learning outcomes for children and CREST will partner with you to nurture success, build resilience and encourage a deep love for learning in your child.

The CREST Values

Connect

We are committed to creating positive connections for children, families and staff as well as within the broader community. These connections will always try to support, value-add and increase individual sense of worth and well-being.

Respect

The building of warm relationships and respectful communication are the foundation and are the core of all our interactions with children, families and community. Respect for the rights, dignity and integrity of others is essential for the wellbeing of a community. Therefore we will always respect, value and celebrate all forms of diversity, creating an environment that is inclusive of all.

Engage

We will engage with children, families, community and key stakeholders to advocate for all children and promote the importance of early learning, children’s agency and the rights of children to participate as global citizens within the community.

Spirit

Within all we do we will embody the spirit of childhood through the provision of fun, exciting and creative educational programs that inspire children.

Trust

When people trust each other, children or adults, it leads to opportunities for transformation, responsiveness and enabling both in being and doing.
